Access Support Services

Access Support Services

I offer support services to artists and creatives for: funding applications, writing statements, bios, and website copy, applications for residencies and opportunities, and project development and delivery.

If you’re planning to make an application to Arts Council England or Creative Scotland I can help you with planning, writing, and submitting your application.

Access Support is funded by the Arts Council where you live, and is available for Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people as well anyone experiencing poor physical or mental health. If you self-identify as facing any of these access barriers, I can help you make an access support request.

What does an Access Support worker do?

  • If you find it easer to talk through your project ideas in a 1-1 chat, I can transcribe material from our conversation, and help you clarify your ideas.
  • I can help you organise the tasks for your application, assist with time management, and support you in putting together your project plan.
  • I can work from notes from our 1-1s, and/or notes and drafts that you provide, to organise and clarify the writing for your application. I will ensure that everything is clear, accurate and inside your word or character count.
  • If you’re applying to Arts Council England, your support worker can be added as a second user on your Grantium account, which means I can input all your application information into Grantium, check it for you, and get it ready for you to submit.
